12/20/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Parker is an OF/LHP prospect who showcased his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City. In the field, Parker takes a quick first step and works behind the ball well. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and works to barrel up the baseball, spraying line drives to all fields. Parker can create more consistent contact by working a smoother load into his swing. On the mound, Parker operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 71mph. Breaking ball sits from 61-63mph with 1-7 break. Long tossing can help Parker build up his arm strength on the mound and in the field. Overall, Parker is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

08/29/2021 - All-In Membership - Augusta, NJ Parker is a 2023 OF. Athletic build with strength present. In the OF, he starts with active/efficient feet and good body control at baseball. Takes aggressive/downhill routes to baseball and fields the ball from a square fielding position. Has a clean gather working into a 3/4 release point. Works behind the baseball and creates momentum on his accurate throws into the infield at 78mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance. Showed quick hands, with a level swing, and has a fast bat through the hitting zone. Has a short/direct hand path with ability to make consistent contact. He sprayed line drives consistently to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph during BP. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having a bright future on the baseball diamond.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
