12/27/2013 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City Parker showed as a OF/LHP in his latest Baseball Factory outing. On the bump, he hit 70 MPH with his fastball that had arm side run. His arm action and mechanics are clean, and there is more strength and projection when he begins to use more lower half. In the outfield, he has a good setup, works through the ball and has fluid actions. Working to improve his first step and increasing his foot speed will enable a higher level play. Offensively, he stays balanced, has a level path and showed to be a good contact hitter. Tracking drills and slight mechanical tune-ups will increase zone awareness and eliminate swing flaws. Overall - Parker is a very coachable player that works hard and showed adjustments in the duration of the camp.
