08/30/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Cooperstown, NY In the field, Parker’s athleticism and arm strength were standout features, enabling him to make challenging plays and execute strong, accurate throws. At the plate, he demonstrated good bat speed and bat-to-ball skills, consistently making hard contact. His speed was impressive, complemented by very good instincts that made him a threat on the basepaths. On the mound, he displayed good run to his fastball, which he commanded well, alongside effective control of his breaking ball. His delivery was balanced and coordinated, and his arm action smooth, contributing to his ability to pitch ahead and consistently throw his secondary pitches for strikes. His competitive nature was evident as he effectively managed game situations, and his overall confidence infused his play across all aspects of the game, making him a formidable player in any scenario.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
