09/24/2023 - National Showcase - Hartford, CT Parker is a 2024 3B prospect with an athletic frame at 5'10" 150 pounds. At third, he shows off active feet and has range to the glove side. He does a good job of centering the ball up, presenting his hands out in front and doing a great job of finding the big hop. He does a good job of staying low when moving to the baseball. He has a clean exchange and works hard to make accurate throws from a low 3/4 slot with a loose arm action. At the plate, he starts in a squared stance and has a nice base. He has a very repeatable swing and does a nice job of getting his lower half involved. He works hard to stay direct to the baseball. He is a pull side hitter that showed an ability to barrel the baseball. We are excited to see more of Parker as he progresses through his senior year of high school!

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
