04/11/2021 - All-In Membership - Manalapan, NJ Paul is a 2022 1B. Tall frame physical build with present strength and plenty of room to add more strength. Primary 1B, stays in front of the ball well with ability to make routine plays. Athletic fielding position with good footwork around the bag. Low funnel with clean exchange and accurate/on-line throws to all bags with an arm velocity of 69mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a square and athletic stance. Long levered player who swings with intent. Solid base with an athletic setup who hits into a firm front side. Direct barrel path that produces line drives to all fields and a bat exit velocity of 82mph. As he continues to develop and mature, we see him having opportunities to play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
