12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Percy is a dedicated shortstop from Brush, Colorado, who will graduate in the 2025 class. He worked hard at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Camp, where he showcased strong defensive skills. Percy consistently works to center the baseball with a low funnel and utilizes an over-the-top release point to make accurate throws, reaching an arm velocity of up to 80 mph. His ability to deliver precise double-play feeds adds to his reliability in the infield. At the plate, Percy starts with a square stance and demonstrates the ability to deliver the barrel, making solid contact. During live game action, he reached base on a single, a walk, and an error, and also added a stolen base to his repertoire. With another season of development, Percy’s overall game is poised to improve even further, making him a player to watch as he continues to progress.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
