04/22/2018 - College PREP - Reno, NV Peter is a tall, lean 2B who has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed is above average as indicated by his 60 time of 7.27. At 2B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active and he displays proper footwork but needs to play through balls more with his body. Glove action is soft /sure but will benefit by presenting more out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. With 3 years to further develop, Peter has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
