04/10/2022 - All-In Membership - Washington, DC Peter is a class of 2024 Shortstop prospect. He shows off a medium frame with some strength and athleticism present and room to add moving forward. In the field, he shows good pre-pitch actions with quick feet to range him to the baseball. Continues to show athletic movements and does a good job fielding through the baseball. Clean exchanges and a good arm help him get the ball across the diamond quickly. At the plate, he hit from a tall and open stance. Did a good job staying in his legs, both in his load and in his swing. Had a line drive approach towards the center of the field along with some pullside power. Did a good job getting his barrel on plane early and had exit velos as high as 74 MPH. Peter is a talented player with natural ability. With continued development we expect opportunities for him to play at the next level.

10/10/2021 - All-In Membership - Bowie, MD Peter is a SS/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Peter shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He gets into a square position and fields with a firm glove. His exchange is clean and he makes on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance with center balance. He is smooth to load and hits against a strong front side. He works through a direct swing and drives the ball from gap to gap. Peter can barrel up more baseballs by taking a square stride. On the mound, Peter gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. He operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 69mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 55-56mph with 11-5 break. Long tossing can help Peter build up his arm strength on the mound and in the field. Overall, Peter is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

05/23/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Bowie, MD Peter is a SS/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Peter covers ground well and fields in a square position. His exchange is quick and he gains ground on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line through his target. Presenting his glove to the ball sooner can help Peter field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance with center balance. He works to barrel up the baseball and uses the entire field well. Peter can create more consistent contact by working through a shorter swing path. On the mound, Peter works with a clean arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. He operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 64mph. Breaking ball sits from 51-54mph with 9-3 break. Changeup sits from 52-54mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Gathering to a balance point over the rubber can help Peter be more controlled throughout his delivery. Overall, Peter is a developing prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
