10/27/2024 - National Showcase - Stillwater (Minneapolis), MN Prescott is a left-handed pitching prospect from Little Falls, MN, who shows strong potential both at the plate and on the mound. At the plate, he hits from a crouched, closed stance with a quiet head and a balanced swing, staying on plane and quick to the ball, making consistent contact to all fields at 80 mph. On the mound, he demonstrates excellent command, picking up his target early and repeating his delivery with a clean arm stroke and controlled landing. His fastball features tailing action, while his curveball shows good arm speed and depth, and his changeup has effective movement in the zone. His ability to execute pitches with precision makes him a reliable pitcher in any situation. With two more years of development, he has the potential to continue refining both his offensive and pitching skills, which will only increase his effectiveness on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.
