01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Preston is an athletic (5'10"/170) RHP who pounds the zone and challenges hitters. He maintains quick tempo and doesn't give hitters a chance to get settled. Arm action is short/quick as he works in-line and drives downhill toward the dish. He works his FB to both sides of the plate, 85 -87 mph. Breaking ball has 12/6 shape with good action as he has the ability to throw it for strikes in any count. He competes and struck out 5 and only allowing 2 hits from the 11 batters that he faced. Chaudoin is a skilled RHP who will give his team a chance every time that he steps onto the mound.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
