08/15/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Honolulu, HI Raidan is a 2B prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and room to fill out. In the infield, he works to center the baseball with efficient feet. Creates good fielding angles as he fields down to up with a low funnel. Showed ability keep his eyes behind glove and pick out hops. Has quick/clean transfer, with a quick release, as he makes accurate/on-line throws at 76mph across diamond. Right-handed hitter, he hits from an athletic and open stance. Short/direct path to ball who showed ability to keep hands inside ball and uses all fields. He squared up baseballs to all fields with recorded bat exit velocity up to 73mph during his round of BP. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having a good high school career and beyond.

01/12/2020 - National Tryout Plus - Waipahu (Honolulu), HI Raidan worked out at SS during his last workout with The Factory. He showed a spike in hitting and also increased arm velocity to 59 MPH. At the plate, Raidan stands in athletically, he swings aggressively, and he works the middle of the field. He loads his hands well, shows some strength in his swing, and he makes contact consistently. At SS, Raidan has a presentable glove and he works around the ball well. He uses 2 hands, field cleanly, and throws with momentum and a short arm across the diamond.

11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Raidan continues to improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the MIF, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is clean but needs to present earlier and more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting abilities have improved through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

08/11/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Waipahu (Honolulu), HI Raidan is a young, solid, 2-way player who plays 2nd base and RHP. Defensively, Raidan has efficient footwork, he covers ground well, and makes the routine plays on balls hit his way. He flashes a good backhand, his exchange is clean, and he throws with consistency to his target. On the mound, Raidan has good balance, he works well to his balance point, and he has good glove side lead. At the plate, this RHH has a tall/open stance a short/square stride, and good balance. He swings in good rhythm and works the ball gap to gap. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

Defense
1. Play more through
2. Fielding position
3. Release
Pitching
1. Landing
2. Arm action
3. Separation
Offense

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
