12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic (MS) Raylon continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities on the diamond. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to improve as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 64-65 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will increase as he builds more arm strength and develops off speed pitches. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best he can be.
