01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Reese continues to develop as a promising prospect, showcasing steady improvements in his baseball abilities. Defensively at first base, he demonstrates above-average skills with smooth, fluid actions. His active footwork allows him to move efficiently around the bag, making him a quality receiver. His hands are clean and present well out front, while his lateral movement and foot quickness help him cover a lot of ground. His throws are accurate with good carry to his target. At the plate, his power potential has significantly improved through an open setup. His quick hands (83 mph exit velocity) work through an aggressive swing path, generating strength in his swing with a strong feel for the barrel. His power shows best to the pull side. On the mound, his fastball sits in the 71-74 mph range with good arm-side run, complemented by a breaking ball with a sharp 1/7 shape and downward break. He attacks hitters effectively, consistently throwing strikes with all his pitches. As he continues to build arm strength through a long toss program, his stock on the mound will continue to rise.
