09/19/2024 - BF Teams - Fall Super 17 Invitational Reed is a 3B from Williamsburg, VA, in the 2025 high school graduating class, who made a strong impression at the Baseball Factory Super 17 Invitational. Defensively, he showcased solid actions with good agility and quick feet, enabling him to get rid of the baseball quickly. His arm velocity reached up to 81 mph, and his throws had impressive carry. At the plate, he started in an open stance, demonstrating smooth timing and a fast barrel that consistently drove line drives to all fields. Throughout the games, he reached base multiple times and proved to be a plus-plus baserunner, showing great instincts on the bases. With another season of development ahead, this coachable player is poised to reach new heights in his baseball career.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
