07/25/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Elizabethtown, KY Riley showcased quick hands and a smooth, efficient swing, consistently barreling up pitches and staying in the middle of the field with his approach. His instincts were a standout, especially on the bases, where he demonstrated + baserunning ability, reading situations well and taking extra bases when possible. On the mound, he commanded his pitches effectively, working with confidence and control to keep hitters off balance. His overall field awareness and athleticism made him a solid all-around performer.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
