07/20/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National West Robbie is a talented prospect behind the dish who has a strong build (6'3"/195). Behind the plate, he sits in well with flexion and athletic actions. Lateral quickness allows him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of his chest. Arm stroke is quick from a smooth transfer as he gains ground toward 2B.Throws are on the bag with impressive pop times of 1.90. As a hitter, Robbie has a balanced setup with fluid rhythm. Bat is swung with speed, creating consistent/hard contact as he drives it to the gaps (exit velocity of 88 mph). Campillo is an exciting prospect whose tools will play at a very high level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
