12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Robert is a RHP and OF in the 2026 class. He recently participated in the AZ Recruiting Classic and improved in several areas. In the field, he shows a solid glove and makes routine play look routine. His feet are in synch with his body and he positions himself behind the baseball. Gains a low fielding position and fields out in front of his body. His catch to release actions are quick and he generates momentum to produce accurate throws back to the dirt at 78 velo. On the mound, he operates with a 3-pitch mix from a 3 qtr. arm slot. His FB sat 76 and was able to work both sides of the plate. His CB ranged 60-2 with 10-4 shape and medium break for strikes. His CH had tailing actions and deception at 64. Scouts loved his ability to change speeds feel if he can create a full finish on his pitches, he can work more downhill. At the plate, e has advanced strike zone knowledge and is patient. In 7 plate appearances he registered 6 total BB’s. He has a short and compact stroke and stays in control of his body in all swing phases. Shows excellent balance and solid bat to ball skills in BP. Overall, Robert is a player with great starting points and with more strength and core strength, he can become an excellent 2026 prospect.

11/05/2023 - National Showcase - Stockton, CA Robert is an OF/RHP who will graduate in 2026. Medium frame stout build with strength throughout. In the OF, shows active feet and ability to make routine plays. Good 1st step reads enable him to create good fielding angles. Made accurate throws from a 3/4 arm slot, with a quick release, and an arm velocity of 77mph into the infield. On the mound, he picks up target early and gathers over the rubber. Commands a FB that sits 68-75mph, an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup with arm side run. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. A direct barrel path, with some quickness to hands, and weight between his knees. Hit line drives to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 75mph during his round of BP. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee this 2-way player making huge strides on the baseball field.

06/19/2023 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Robert is a solid 1B/RHP who will graduate in 2026. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 66-68 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. With 3 years to further develop, Robert has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
