10/06/2012 - 2012 Team One Texas Showcase Duggar continues to show a lot of improvements in his baseball abilities, still showing as an SS/RHP. Currently, he projects best on the mound for the next level but has a ton of potential in the INF. On the mound, arm strength has improved, as he topped out at 88 mph. Fastball showed a range of 84-88 mph with late glove side run. Breaking ball is a quality pitch, displaying 10/5 shape with late bite and depth. He maintains arm speed on his changeup showing a solid feel for with glove side run. Command / control are a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches, locating to both side of the plate and changes speed well. At SS, foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Feet are quick / aggressive as he takes proper angles in working around balls and plays through well with his body. Hands are soft/clean/sure as he makes all the plays. At the plate, Robert has improved his power numbers as he displays strength in his swing. Hands are quick, generating outstanding bat speed as he works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields. He has leverage with solid barrel accuracy as the baseball explodes off his bat when centered. At the event, he was 4 for 8 with a 2B.
