07/20/2010 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Ross is a young (2013) two-way player in the OF plus at SS with a solid and athletic looking body. Currently, he projects best in the OF for the next level. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 6.95 60 time. Feet are active and aggressive in taking proper routes / angles in tracking down balls in the OF, displaying range. He reads balls well of the bat showing solid instincts and a feel for his position. Throws show carry and accuracy through a quick arm action. At SS, his hands are ok, but his approach is high and his footwork is currently not as good as an infielder as it is as an outfielder. Offensively, Gisondi shows a balanced approach, flashing bat speed through a long, level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off his bat when centered to the pull side. With 3 years to further develop, Ross has a lot of potential with time and room to continue to improve.
