07/21/2010 - College PREP - Sanford (Orlando), FL Ryan showed similar skills in Sanford as he did at his last workout. He improved his radar velocity from 78 to 80 MPH. Defensively, Ryan has a good set-up, good range, and he tracks the ball well. He fields the ball out in front of his body and has a plus arm with carry to his target. If Ryan can quicken his exchange and avoid flying open, defensive numbers can further improve. At the plate, Ryan has good balance and bat speed. He has a level swing, tall backside, and he stays inside the ball well. Ryan can hit the ball to all fields with power, and with less noisy hands, and more direct hands to the ball, offensive tool grades can get even better. Overall, Ryan has a good body, he runs well, and can get even better.
