08/01/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Ryan is a hard-working two-way prospect who is a great teammate and does whatever he can to improve his game. He looks comfortable on the mound with a smooth, clean delivery and works fast to keep hitters off balance and control the pace of the game. He has fluid rhythm in his delivery, working down the mound with good pace to stay in sync and get to a consistent release point. He features a three-pitch mix of a sinking fastball, 10-4 CB with tight spin and deceptive changeup at 71mph. At second, he shows athleticism and gets low to field, working from the ground up to handle tough hops. His arm is accurate to throw to first and he makes a good DP partner with pinpoint feeds. Speed and agility drills will improve footwork and range. At the dish, he generates good torque in his swing with a strong lower half. He works on a direct path to the ball, delivering the barrel consistently to make solid contact. Ryan is an intriguing prospect we look forward to following during his senior season.
