06/20/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Bridgeport, CT Ryan is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2022. Defensively at SS, he works into a low fielding position on GB's. He comes up with a clean exchange and releases throws with a loose arm. On the mound, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He has a strong frontside, delivers with loose arm action and works in line towards home plate. With the stick, Ryan tracks pitches with quiet eyes. He swings on a short/direct path through the zone and consistently drives pitches on a line. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
