01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Rylan is a 2027 3B who showcased his skills during the BF Rookie PSAA Tournament. At 3B, he starts in a good ready position and creates fielding angles. Showed good hands as he fields out front and has good glove actions. Made accurate throws across the diamond from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 73mph. At the plate, he sets up in an athletic and square stance with high hand set. Has a good setup and takes an aggressive swing. A short/compact swing enables him to hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 76mph during his round of BP. At the event, he reached base 3 times with a triple, and 2 base on balls. Overall, Rylan is a good player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
