05/28/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Keizer (Salem), OR Rylan is a C/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Behind the plate, he shows a balanced setup. He presents a solid target and works hard to block low pitches in the dirt. On the mound, this RHP keeps his eyes on target and delivers from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. He separates on time with a glove tuck as he delivers a 3-pitch mix for strikes. With the bat, Rylan gets back into a good load. He takes aggressive hacks through the zone as he looks to drive pitches back up through the middle of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
