06/03/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Satchell is an athletic C who shows as a top prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate, Satchell is a great leader and works well with his pitchers. He receives with soft hands and keeps dirt balls in front of him when blocking. He gets rid of the ball quickly on throws to 2B, displaying pop times as low as 1.88 seconds. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through a crouched setup. He gets into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He gets good extension through the ball with plus bat speed, leading to great pull side pop. Overall, Satchell is a talented player who will be among the top C prospects in his class.

09/28/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures East Satchell is an athletic C prospect who will graduate in 2021. Behind the plate, Satchell moves well to block and sticks the ball when receiving. He shows a good exchange and makes strong throws through the 2B bag. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through an athletic setup. He repeats his swing well and drives the ball with authority. Overall, Satchell is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his junior season.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
