01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Sean continues to show shine on the diamond. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls, playing through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus (6.99 60 time) as he reads balls well off the bat and covers a lot of ground. Throws display life, accuracy and on line carry (84 mph velocity) as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are quick and work inside the ball utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with the baseball jumping off the bat when centered.

07/19/2017 - Under Armour Southwest Championships 16U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Sean is strong, athletic built 2B/OF prospect who has a well-rounded skill set and graduates in 2019. As a switch-hitter, Sean has a square, athletic stance with a firm front side and centered balance. He has smooth rhythm and timing with a good load. He takes a short, square stride and uses his lower half throughout his swing. Sean shows fast bat speed with a direct, on-plane swing path producing hard contact. He gets good rotation and maintains a quiet head. Sean is a line drive hitter with a middle of the field approach. In the field, Sean plays with effective footwork and covers good ground. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a low, athletic position. He has a long exchange leading into a restricted arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. Sean has online arm strength and turns a smooth double play. Overall, Sean plays the game athletically with an effective approach giving him a bright future on the diamond.

02/15/2016 - College PREP - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Sean has shown tremendous growth over the last few months, at the plate. The switch hitter has the makings of a solid lead-off/ two-hole type guy that has quick hands and an up-the-middle approach. From the left side, he was exceptionally quick to the ball, and work through the zone with plus bat speed and fluidity. His barrel was extremely accuracy and he was able to show almost the same feel from the right side, despite getting a little uphill at times. At short, he worked his feet pre-pitch and got his body into a good position to make plays with a sure glove. He worked hard to make plays both right & left, and he threw with accuracy across the diamond. Implementing a throwing program to continue strengthening his arm and cleaning up his footwork to throw (eliminating a couple of steps), will add life and glove to glove pop times. In the OF, he was very aggressive to the ball and took good angles to make plays. His glove played sure and he threw on-line to his targets with momentum behind his throws. In all - Sean is a talented switch hitter that has 4 years of high school baseball ahead of him to compete at a high level.

07/24/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Sean is an athletic 2-way player that has shown some improvements since his last outing. His velo has jumped to 69, 60 yd is now 7.47, and his defensive ratings have made a climb. In the OF, Sean showed athletic actions with the ability to get good angles, working to get around the ball. He works through the ball with aggression, gaining momentum towards his target for an easy throw. Getting into a better fielding position with his glove up will allow Sean to take his defensive abilities one step further. At the plate, Sean is a switch-hitter with a mature approach to hitting. He has good balance at contact and the ability to handle all pitches in the zone. Sean is an extremely hard working player with a bright future in the game.

12/28/2014 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Sean is a skilled 2-way player (OF/2B) who can swing it. This switch hitter currently shows similar skills from both sides of the plate. He maintains good balance, waits for his pitch and swings on a level path. He connects and drives his lower 1/2, creating extension through contact. In the OF, Lee shows an aggressive approach with athletic actions. He secures the ball, gathers well and has a quick arm. At 2B, Lee shows good prep footwork playing on the balls of his feet. He has a clean exchange and makes accurate throws to 1B. Overall abilities will improve with work on the following.

Offense
1. Contact points
2. Shorter/more direct swing path
Outfield
1. Arm strength (long toss)
2. Play through ball
Infield
1. Glove presentation
2. Lower fielding position

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
