05/11/2008 - College PREP - Olympia, WA Sean is a tall athletic player with a solid build. At 3B, Sean shows soft hands and a quick release. He has range and good footwork when turning the double play. Throws are accurate with arm strength. He is an above average defender. At the plate, Sean displays bat speed and a balanced approach. He has the ability to stay on the ball and extend through it. He could load his hands a little more to generate momentum, but he knows how to hit. Sean can play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
