09/24/2016 - 2016 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures West Sean is a RHP with an advanced feel to pitch and a repeatable delivery that lead to a high volume of strikes at the Under Armour Futures West event. His long stride and excellent extension allow his fastball to get on hitters even quicker than the mid to upper 80s velocity that he showed on the mound would suggest. He is aggressive with that FB that he throws to both sides of the plate and he mixes in a breaking ball that good depth and 11-5 shape. Committed to Oregon State, Sean has the look of the guy you want on the mound in big game situations.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
