08/05/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Ochoa only showed at 3B at the event and has improved his foot speed as he ran his best 60 time to date. He plays hard and works to square balls up, displaying proper footwork. For defensive grade to continue to improve, he needs to attack balls more, play through more while presenting hands more out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an open, balanced setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields and makes consistent contact. Power numbers will continue to increase as he learns to use his lower half more. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a hard worker and is very coachable.
