02/03/2013 - College PREP - Houston, TX Seth is a left-handed swinging OF with a projectable build. Defensively, he moves well getting behind the fly-ball ball with fluid footwork. He catches the ball at its highest point, gains ground toward his target, and makes accurate throws with life on them. He has a clean transfer and with increased arm strength will improve his OF play. At the plate, Barrow gets into an athletic and open setup with a solid load. He takes his hands directly to the ball, delivering the barrel through contact. He has a middle of the field approach with the ability to line-drives to all fields. As a 2013 graduate, this talented OF will be one to watch as the Spring season rolls around.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
