At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting back into his load and hits against a strong front side. Shyne is an athletic 3B/OF prospect who continued to showcase his skills at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Shyne starts in an athletic ready position and fields in a square position. He throws from a 3/4 angle and keeps his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a comfortable stance and rotates his core well, leading to solid contact to all fields. Overall, Shyne is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.
12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18)
Shyne continues to show the makings of a special type player with his baseball abilities. At the plate is where he continues to show best through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 2 for 5. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is firm but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

Shyne is a coachable 3B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the SoCal Classic. In the field, Shyne makes the routine plays and flashes a clean exchange. He throws with a clean arm and keeps his throws accurate with carry through his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Shyne improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance with his hands held high. He drives through well with his lower half and produces fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact and gap to gap pop. Shyne can improve as a hitter by getting his stride foot down sooner. Overall, Shyne is a solid prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

Shyne showed good size and athleticism during his last workout in Hagerstown, MD. At 3rd base, Shyne has firm hands, efficient footwork, and he fields in a square position. He makes plays consistently, his exchange is clean, and he throws with consistency and direction across the diamond. Playing lower and more through will help INF abilities improve. In the OF, Shyne has active feet, solid actions, and a soft/presentable glove. He works behind fly balls well, his exchange is quick and clean, and he throws with momentum to his cut off man. Offensively, Shyne is a strong hitter with an athletic stance and a short/square stride. He has good balance, fast bat speed, and he hits with strength to the pull side. Improved extension and barrel accuracy will only help solid hitting get even better.
10/03/2018 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic
Shyne is a coachable OF/3B prospect who continued to work hard on his skills during his time at the Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic. In the field, Shyne gets into a good position and fields with a firm glove. He makes strong throws through the cutoff man and works to keep them accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting back into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a short swing with decent bat speed which leads to solid line drives. With three more years to develop, Shyne has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
07/27/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18)
Shyne is a talented OF/3B prospect who plays the game hard. As a right-handed hitter, Shyne has a square stance with a centered balance. He has fluid rhythm with a good load and short stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Shyne shows fast bat speed with an on-plane swing path. He consistently lands the barrel to the baseball producing good contact. Shyne is an above average hitter who has a line drive approach. In the field, Shyne works hard and takes good routes to the ball. He stays behind the ball and fields it in an athletic position. Shyne has a long exchange and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. His throws are accurate and have good carry. Overall, Shyne plays the game athletically and has the ability to take his skills to the next level.

Shyne continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. He did show at 3B for the first time at the event. At the plate is where he has improved the most, displaying well above average hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently through the swing. In the OF, defensive abilities have improved. Feet are aggressive as he works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At 3B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active and he displays active feet in attacking the baseball. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. Shyne has a lot of potential with time to progress his game.

Shyne is a lean, athletic OF who will graduate in 2021. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 60 time of 7.14. In the OF, he displays smooth / clean actions. He utilizes his feet well in tracking down balls through proper routes / angles. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he reads balls well off the bat and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive approach. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently. With 4 years to further develop, Shyne has the makings of a special type player with time and room to progress his game.

Shyne continues to show progress in his baseball abilities. At 3B, feet are active as he works to square balls up. Hands are soft /clean but will benefit by presenting more out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on slow roller play. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an athletic / open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with full rotation of hips.

At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting and power potential. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and keeps hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid, displaying smooth, fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square balls up and plays through well. Glove action is soft and sure as he presents on time. In the OF, he takes proper routes and angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Hands and feet work well together with accuracy and on line carry to his throws. With 3 years to further develop, Shyne has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.
