01/25/2015 - College PREP - Kapolei (Honolulu), HI Stone is a tall, wiry 2018 RHP that stands at 6'4". On the mound, Stone throws from a Hi 3/4 arm slot with good arm action, control and delivery. He is a tough pitcher to face because of his deceptive delivery and arm whip. Stone uses his tall frame to his advantage by getting good extension to the plate. Working on his direction to the plate and continuing to polish his mechanics will improve his P stock. Overall, Stone is a talented young player with time on his side as he continues to develop/mature.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
