12/27/2014 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Sway is a naturally athletic two-way player (OF/RHP) with some pop off his barrel. He shows an open stance with activated hands giving great bat whip. When he has a "think middle" approach, his bat path is short/direct to contact for pop to all fields. Moving forward, he will do some front toss drill (every other pitch, pitcher hold, for Sway to stay back and have a centered contact point). In the field, Sway attacks the baseball while fielding out in front getting on top of the baseball to the cut-man. On the mound, he is very directional toward the plate with rhythm and balance. He holds runners very well (1.25 to plate) by varying his looks. He repeats his delivery, throwing strikes and giving his defense a chance. Russell is a strong player who should find success on the diamond.
