03/12/2015 - Yankees Spring Training Experience Taso is a hard worker who goes about his business and gets the job done. Behind the dish, this solid backstop sits in well and tracks the ball into his mitt. Exchange on throws down to 2B is clean as he gets his shoulders in-line. He has a strong arm and puts the ball on the bag (pop times of 2.75). Times will continue to drop with increased arm strength from a long toss program. With the bat, this RHH shows a square setup with good balance. He fires the barrel to and through the zone and has pop off of his barrel when centered. Continuing to develop more rhythm to load will help to increase his contact consistency. Taso (2020 grad) has skills with still a ton of time to develop on the diamond.
