05/02/2010 - College PREP - Boise, ID Tevin is a two-way player on the mound plus at 2B with a thin frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature. Currently, he projects best on the mound for the next level. He works quick, rushing delivery at times as he needs to slow down. Fastball shows a range of 76-78 mph, flashing arm side run. Changeup is best off speed pitch showing a plus feel for with fading action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with average spin. He needs to work on staying on top of breaking ball for more consistency. He attacks hitters as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Defensively, he gets around ground balls and plays hard but needs to be more aggressive in coming to get, playing through ground balls with feet / hands. Offensively, Hamilton attacks the baseball, making consistent contact but has some mechanical flaws that are hindering him from reaching full potential with grades improving quickly with instruction and adjustments. Tevin has abilities with a lot of room to improve.
