12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Timothy is a promising outfielder from Pleasant Grove, AL, in the 2026 class, who dedicated himself to improving his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City camp. He has a solid frame and takes good angles in the field, working from a generally square stance with his hands out front. His arm velocity reaches up to 80 mph, showcasing his strength, though improving his accuracy on throws will help refine his game further. At the plate, Timothy is a right-handed hitter who starts in an open stance and generates explosive bat speed, making him a tough out. In live game action, he reached base four times through walks, was hit by a pitch, and also reached on an error, demonstrating his strong plate discipline and ability to get on base. Additionally, he runs the bases well and has a solid understanding of the strike zone. With another year of growth and development, Timothy has the potential to continue progressing and become an even more dynamic player.

06/02/2024 - National Showcase - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Timothy is a lean, athletic OF who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, he displays smooth fluid actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness (7.09 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate, flashing carry (80 mph velocity) but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. With 2 years to further develop, Timothy has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
