07/28/2023 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC (MS) Timothy is a tall and strong 1B/OF in the 2027 class. In the field he plays the ball well on the dirt and gets great reads in the OF. Arm plays at 73-74 velo and shows quickness with a 7.72 60 yd. His glove is clean and his throws are accurate from a high ¾ slot. Working to stay in his legs on his release with provide further depth. At the plate, he swings with intent. Bat speed plays at 89 exit velo and creates consistent contact. Future gaps type hitter once he matures as a hitter. Overall, solid prospect in the 2027 class.

04/30/2023 - National Showcase - Manalapan, NJ Timothy is a 2027 1B prospect from Lanoka Harbor, NJ. At first, he works hard to get in a low fielding position and field out in front. His arm action in the field is long from a 3/4 slot and he makes accurate throws with strength online to his targets. Timothy really shines at the plate. He starts in a tall, open stance and has a short, squared stride. He shows off a balanced setup and his rhythm and timing are smooth and fluid. His lower half does a great job of working through the baseball and his bat speed is fast. He makes hard, consistent contact and recorded a max exit velo of 86 MPH. He projects as a gap to gap hitter but there are flashes of some serious pop. With high school ball still out in front of him, Timothy is an intriguing prospect that we expect to continue to hone his skills and develop into an impressive player.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
