07/27/2022 - Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Tommy continues to show as a top prospect with his baseball abilities at the SOUTHWEST 17U TOUNAMENT. In the OF, defensive abilities are excellent as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his excellent foot quickness in covering a lot of ground, displaying range. Throws are accurate with online carry (94 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength (89 mph exit velocity) in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

03/13/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Thousand Oaks, CA Farmer continues to impress besting his previous arm strength record by 3mph, now up to 94mph. He also eclipsed his 40 yard dash record now down to a 4.55. The fluidity in his defensive play catches the eyes of everyone in the park. At the plate, he uses the whole field with gap-to-gap power. Farmer is a high-level collegiate prospect that will make a program very happy.

02/06/2022 - All-In Membership - Thousand Oaks, CA Tommy is a freakish athlete with an extremely high ceiling on the field. He does a little bit of everything but it's his foot speed/arm strength combo that make him a bonafide DI centerfielder prospect. He covers a massive amount of real estate and the ball sails out of his hand with carry. In addition, he produced his best broad jump to date at 9'5" and his grip strength of 142 pounds on his left hand and 159 pounds on his right hand show that there is also some special power lurking beneath the surface. At the plate, he does a consistent job of using the whole field and barrels up baseballs on the regular. We are expecting big things out of Tommy this year.

06/21/2021 - USA Baseball 17U Championships Tommy is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame, with high waist, lean build with strength present and plenty of room to develop. Ran a 6.72 60-yard dash. In the OF, quick feet and good reads enable him to take good routes to balls. Flips hips and ability to cover ground into both gaps. Athletic/square fielding position as he fields ball out front and keeps his feet moving through the fielding process. Quick exchange as he works into an over-the-top release point with an arm velocity of 87mph into infield. Throws were accurate with good carry. A right-handed hitter, starts with an athletic and square stance. Square stride, with good balance at contact, and ability to rotate back hip to ball. On-plane swing enables Tommy to consistently hit line drives to all fields. Had a double and a base on balls, as well has 4 quality at-bats, and a wood bat exit velocity of 73mph in live game action. As he continues to develop and mature, we see him having a bright future on the baseball field.

04/11/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Orange (Los Angeles), CA This 2023 grad stands with an athletic build and present strength. Ran a 6.75 60-yard dash. Primary OF who displays quick, active feet with proper reads off the bat. Quick/clean transfer with a long arm action and accurate/online throws at 87mph. Right-handed hitter begins with a square and athletic stance. Simple load and good separation allow him to get on plane early. Solid hip rotation as he hits line drives to all fields with an exit velocity of 81mph off the tee. As he continues to add size, we see him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

12/09/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Thousand Oaks, CA Tommy showed well at both SS and in the OF during his last workout with The Factory. In the INF, Tommy has active/fluid feet, soft/presentable hands, and he fields in a low position. He fields in rhythm, makes plays consistently, and throws with accuracy from a loose arm action to his target. In the OF, Tommy has active feet, he reads the ball off the bat well, and he takes proper angles. He makes plays and throws with momentum toward his target. Offensively, Tommy has a square set-up, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has a level swing, works the middle of the field, and finds the barrel consistently. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
