06/27/2010 - Team One South 2010 Travis is a small, athletic, fast, OF who will graduate in 2011. In the OF, he is aggressive to the ball, reacts quickly, and makes plays. He has a good idea, has a quick 1st step, and release the ball consistently. Travis can improve in the OF if he can polish his mechanics and sure up his hands. Offensively, Travis sits in the box well and has good balance. He can work the ball to all fields and he puts it in play. Hitting can improve with a better stride, more level swing, and better use of his back side. Travis was timed at 6.69 in the 60 yard dash at the event.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
