08/08/2021 - All-In Membership - Tomball (Houston), TX Tre is an OF/LHP who will graduate in 2023. Athletic build with strength present. In the OF, shows active feet and ability to cover ground. Fields ball out front from a square fielding position. Good reads off the bat enable him to flip his hips and works through the baseball. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with a short arm action, and throws were accurate/on-line into the infield at 72mph. On the mound, this left-handed pitcher gathers over the rubber and picks up target early. Repeats his delivery well. Has a loose arm and throws 3 pitches from the same window. Attacks hitters with a FB that sits 69-70mph, a 1/7 shaped breaking ball, and a developing changeup that has some sinking action. CB was best pitch during his bullpen. A left-handed hitter, starts with an athletic and closed stance. Short barrel path, with good awareness of strike zone, and ability to keep hands inside the baseball. Sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 76mph during BP. As he continues to develop and mature, we see him having a bright future on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
