01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament As gifted an athlete as you will see, Trejyn posted eye-popping results during the workout phase of the Under Armour Pre-Season Tournament. He ran a 6.52 in the 60, flashed 91 mph raw arm strength, showed a 94 mph exit velocity, broad jumped 10'7" and registered an unbelievable grip strength of 186L/187R. Trejyn's actions on the field are an intriguing mix of fluid and explosive with big bat speed that leads to hard contact at the plate. In addition to all that he does as a position player, he even jumped on the mound and touched 90 mph. This is a special prospect to follow closely!

06/10/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Trejyn continues to show a promising future on the diamond with the makings of a special type player at the next level. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now an excellent runner at 6.65. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws (91 mph velocity) on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (88 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field.

01/13/2017 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Trejyn's speed, power, and arm strength profile as a natural fit as a right fielder at the next level. He is athletic in the field with a quick first step that extends his range as he covers lots of ground (6.67 60 time) with active feet. He plays through the ball with a clean exchange and momentum in his release to unleash his cannon of an arm to gun down base runners. His athleticism comes through at the plate with rhythm and balance through his swing and middle approach to hit the ball where it is pitched. His hands are fast through the zone, as he stays short to the ball to make line drive contact and show pop to all fields. Trejyn is a talented prospect for the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
