09/18/2024 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2026)
Trevelyan Podawiltz, a C/3B who recently participated in the Arizona Junior Fall Classic, showcased impressive skills both defensively and offensively. His arm strength and accuracy were standout attributes, making him a reliable asset behind the plate. He also demonstrated excellent receiving skills with his pitching staff. To enhance his defensive game further, focusing on body movement for blocking will help him effectively handle a wider range of pitches.
At the plate, Podawiltz displayed phenomenal power, highlighted by a long double to left-center field that just missed being a home run. In addition to that, he collected two more hits and delivered a hard line drive to right field. His ability to use the entire field when hitting indicates a mature approach, making it clear that he has the potential to excel at the next level. Podawiltz is definitely a player to watch in the future!
04/28/2024 - National Showcase - Seattle, WA
Trevelyan is a catcher with a solid frame in the 2026 class. Behind the plate, he showcases his quick exchange and release flashing a 2.12 pop time. His athletic fielding position and receiving skills were put on display as he was able to block balls in the dirt utilizing a nice down angle with his chest and framing balls out in front. Working to stay low on throw downs will help to make stronger throws in the future. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance. He stays centered with his balance and hits off a firm front side. He shows his ability to hit line drives to the big part of the field while also flashing some power. It will be exciting to see how Trevelyan continues to grow in the future.
01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament
Trevelyan is a 5ft 10/ 180 catcher in the 2026 class. He recently competed well at the BF Preseason All American event. Behind the plate, his feet work well with his body and he centers himself to the baseball. Creates a strong target and his transfers are quick and clean. Gains a short high 3 qtr. slot and his feeds are on the bag at 2.15 pop. Working to replace his feet with his knees on his blocks will be a key point as he progresses his game. At the plate, he begins with an open stance and creates a compact swing. He stays inside the baseball well and generates extension. He consistently squares the ball up and has a line drive approach. Produced several quality at-bats in game action with 3 BB’s 1 2B and several loud outs. Overall, Trevelyan has a bright future in the game.
04/16/2023 - National Showcase - Seattle, WA
Trevelyan is a 2026 C/3B prospect with a solid frame at 5'11" 155 pounds. Behind the plate, he shows off quick feet and agile range. He has firm hands and gives his pitchers an extended target with good pocket awareness. He has a quick exchange and release and makes strong accurate throws to his targets. Does a really nice job of getting a good downward angle on his chest on balls in the dirt and gets his glove down to prevent balls from skipping through. At third, his feet are active and he does a good job of covering ground to all sides. He gets in a squared fielding position and does a good job of presenting his hands out in front. His backhand is impressive. He has a quick exchange and makes accurate throws from different arm slots depending on the play. At the plate, he starts in a squared, crouched stance and gets a good load. His hips and lower half do a nice job of working through the baseball and he makes consistent, line-drive contact to all fields. He finishes his swing nicely and is capable of driving the ball. Trevelyan is an exciting prospect that will develop nicely over the next 3+ years of high school baseball!

Trevelyan is a talented C in the 2026 class. Behind the plate, he shows quick and active footwork. He replaces his feet well on his throw downs and has a quick transfer. He can get the ball in the air (2.3 pop) and is accurate to the bag. At the plate, he begins in an open stance and his hands are comfortable. He rotates his core well and shows line drive production to all fields. High contact rate in games and can put the ball in play. Working to get his lead foot down will help adjust his timing. Overall, Trevelyan has solid starting points for a promising high school career.
08/13/2022 - All-In Membership - Spokane, WA
Trevelyan is an athletic, 2-way player who catches and plays 3rd base. Behind the plate, Trevelyan has quick feet, agile range, and he sticks the ball well. He has a soft chest to block, a good chest angle, and he throws with accuracy and a quick release to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.28 seconds to 2nd base. If Trevelyan can lower his set-up, and avoid stabbing, catching skills will get better. At 3rd base, Trevelyan has active feet, a low approach, and solid range. He has good pre-pitch actions, a quick exchange, and throws with direction across the diamond. Abilities at 3rd base can improve if Trevelyan can field further out in front and raise his arm slot. At the plate, Trevelyan has an open stance, he loads well, and he hits line drives. He rotates his hips through and shows the ability to spray the ball to all fields. Hitting can improve with a shorter swing path, more lower body, and with work on rhythm/timing.
