06/17/2010 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 1 Trevor is a young, tall, lean SS that will graduate in 2013. Defensively, Trevor has good pre-pitch actions and is aggressive to the ball. He makes plays on balls hit his way, fields it cleanly, and throws accurately to his target. Trevor is a good communicator on the field, and he can play a lot of other positions. Added physical strength, and increased arm strength will help Trevor improve as he continues to grow and mature. Offensively, Trevor is an aggressive hitter who makes good contact. He has a level swing and he finds ways to get on base. If Trevor can keep his head on the ball better, and get more extension, offensive grades can further improve.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
