12/27/2008 - Under Armour Recruiting Classic 2008 Trevor is a two way player on the mound and in the OF with an athletic looking frame that does show projection as it continues to physically mature. Foot speed is average and does need to get on a speed / agility program to improve foot quickness for the next level. He utilizes his feet well in covering ground in the outfield. Arm strength is average and does need to get on a strict long toss program to aid in building more arm strength and raise velocities. Defensive abilities are slightly average in the outfield. At the plate, Snow has slightly average ability and power. He shows an aggressive approach and makes consistent contact. On the mound is where future lies. Arm action is loose and clean working well away from body through a repeatable delivery. He does have some mechanical flaws in delivery that can quickly be fixed with instruction, needs to speed up tempo. He mixes his pitches well and attacks hitters, working ahead displaying plus command with his fastball. He does a solid job of varying times to the plate, holding runners. If arm strength continues to build, so will his stock on the mound.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
