01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Trevor is an athletic RHP/2B that will graduate in 2016 with a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Arm strength is well above average as indicated by his top velocity of 84 mph. Fastball shows a range of 82-84 mph with arm side run on a downhill plane. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with late break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for with sinking action. Off speed stuff flash potential as being quality pitches that will get outs at the next level. Command / control is outstanding as he locates well to both sides of the plate. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, is where he shows best through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, generating plus bat speed and work through a level swing path. He displays strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with baseball jumping off bat when centered. At 2B, foot speed is outstanding as indicated by his 6.84 60 time. He utilizes his quick / athletic feet well in his lateral movement, flashing range. Hands are soft / clean but needs to play through balls more while presenting hands more out front to improve defensive grade. Trevor has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve, possibly as a two-way guy.
