10/01/2014 - Arizona Freshman/Sophomore Fall Classic Trey is a very promising 1B/LHP that has a great baseball frame. Defensively, he is a true athlete that has feel for his position. He is sure with the glove, accurate with his arm and vocal. His large frame sometimes forces him high in his fielding position, and he needs to continue to work low, for fielding success. Offensively, he can spray the ball to all fields with power. He handles balls in and out with ease and has an aggressive approach early in the count. He needs to work to stay balanced and athletic even on off-speed pitches, which will allow him to drive the ball more consistently. On the hill, he throws three pitches from over the top. His fastball has cut up to 76 and his CB has 11/5 shape. He flashed feel for his CH with arm side run at 60-61 and he displayed feel for the zone with all pitches. Trey is a true prospect that will be on radars soon with his frame and projection.
