07/16/2024 - National Showcase - Sioux Falls, SD Treydon is a C/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2027. Has an athletic setup with quick feet and has a loud mitt. Shows a quick exchange as he replaces his feet with good direction to second base. Quick release with a best pop time of 2.04 seconds. Hits from an open stance and gets his hands activated. Hands have some quickness, and his bat speed is explosive. During his round of BP, Treydon hit hard line drives to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 86mph. A right-handed pitcher who throws 4 pitches from the same window. Has good movement on his FB that topped out at 84mph. He mixed in an 11/5 breaking ball, a slider, and a changeup with tailing action. Treydon should have opportunities to play at the next level with continued growth and development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
