03/24/2024 - National Showcase - Windsor (Madison), WI Trey is an OF/RHP prospect who continues to show as an impressive player and is one of the top 2027s in or program. He showed improvements across the board and improved measurables. Arm strength and exit velocity are both above 80mph and his 60-yard dash is constantly improving, as he posted a personal best with us at 7.36. Trey has fluid actions defensively and gets rid of the ball quickly. At the plate, he loads his hands well and is balanced with a controlled stride. He has possibilities as a 2-way player with his 6'3 frame and his fastball topped at 76 mph at this workout. He throws downhill and has a very loose arm. Trey is for sure a prospect to watch!

07/28/2023 - Baseball Factory National World Series at JRTC (MS) Treyton is a 2027 OF/RHP prospect from Albion, IN who recently showcased his skills at the National World Series at JRTC. In the OF, he does a good job of getting in a relaxed ready position and works behind the baseball. He squares the ball up and presents his hands out in front, doing a nice job of working through ground balls. His exchange is clean and he makes accurate throws from a high 3/4 slot with a loose arm action. He recorded a raw velo in the OF of 77 MPH. At the plate, he starts in a tall, squared stance with his hands high. He has a firm frontside with his lower half and gets good extension through contact. He swings with a lot of intent and displays impressive bat speed, while doing a good job of rotating his core through contact. In game action, he reached base in 4 out of 7 plate appearance with one single, two walks, and a hit by pitch. He recorded a max exit velo of 75 MPH, improving on his previous marks. On the mound, he throws from a high 3/4 slot and features a 2-pitch mix. His composure is evident pre-pitch, and he does a nice job of getting a simple starter step and gathering his balance over the rubber. He keeps his eyes level to the target and stays in-line to his target with his stride. He has a nice controlled landing and finishes with his chest over his knee. His FB reached a max velo of 73 MPH and showed some run. He fired 2 innings of game action, allowing 2 hits and 1 run and striking out one. Overall, Treyton had a great showing at the event and we are excited to see more of him as he continues to develop his skills!

06/18/2023 - National Showcase - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Treyton continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.38 runner. In the OF, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth fluid actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he shows a tall setup. Hands are loose and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 75 mph. Fastball showed a range of 71-75 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with tailing action. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving stock on the mound.

12/11/2022 - Official Player Development Membership - Indianapolis, IN Treyton is an impressive two-way player (OF/RHP) in the 2027 class. In the field, he has effective feet and centers his body to the baseball. He gains a squared fielding position and makes all the routine plays with ease. Uses a loose arm action from a ¾ slot and working to throw the top of the baseball will provide more downward action and improve his timing back to the dirt. On the mound, he operates with a 3-pitch mix from an over-the-top release. His FB sat 66-8 with gradual run. His CB sat 55-7 with 11-5 shape and medium break. His CH sat 59-61 and has deception with his FB arm speed. At the plate, He has a controlled and balanced stride and shows the ability to be a high contact rate player. Can use all fields and has bat speed (73exit velo). Overall, Treyton has tremendous starting points at this stage of his career. Scouts are eager to see his progress at his next event.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
