11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Highland Park (DFW), TX Tristan is a 2B/RHP who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame lean build with some strength present and plenty of room to add throughout. At 2B, shows active/efficient footwork, with ability to cut down distance, and good lateral range. He fields from an athletic/square fielding position, with ability to pick out hops, and has a low funnel. Made accurate/on-line throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 68mph across diamond. On the mound, he works with good direction towards plate and keeps his eyes on target. He works with good tempo and is around the zone with all of his pitches. He throws a FB that sits 61-64mph, a CB with 11/5 shape with early break, and a developing changeup that is around the plate. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance. Short/square glide step and activated hands. Tries to get on-plane early as he hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 71mph. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we see this 2-way prospect having a bright future on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
