05/07/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Bowie, MD Tristyn is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Defensively at SS, he takes quick routes as he gets into a square fielding position. He fields GB's with soft hands and comes up with a clean exchange to throw. On the hill, this righty delivers from a hi 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action. He keeps his eyes locked in on the mitt as he works in line towards his target. With the stick, Tristyn uses a middle of the field approach. He swings aggressively through the zone and stays balanced through contact. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
